Film a place. Keep it. Get the credit.
Travelquick plans whole trips in one conversation. On the pages where we describe a place, we would rather show a few seconds of it than another stock photograph — filmed by somebody who was actually standing there.
What we ask for
Short vertical clips of a place — a beach, a street, a view, a building. Under a minute each. No voiceover needed, no edit needed. The kind of thing you already post.
What the arrangement is
- You keep your clip
- Ownership does not move. You are giving permission to show it on Travelquick, and that is the whole of it.
- Non-exclusive
- You can post the same clip anywhere else, sell it to anyone else, and keep it on your own Instagram. Nothing here stops you.
- Credit on every card
- Your name and your @handle appear on the clip, and the handle links to your Instagram profile. Where there is a reel, the card links to it.
- Withdraw whenever you like
- Tell us and the clip comes off the site straight away. The file is deleted within seven days. You do not have to give a reason.
- Only clips you own
- You have to have filmed it, or hold the rights to it. A clip you reposted from somebody else is not yours to license, however many people have seen it on your account.
- Sound stays with its owner
- A clip plays muted unless you tell us the sound is yours. Music from Instagram's library is licensed for Instagram, not for a website.
The full wording is on the licence page. It is still with our lawyer, so nobody can accept anything yet — including you.
What you get
- Your picture and @handle on the clip, linking to your Instagram profile.
- A Watch on Instagram link straight to your reel, where you gave us one.
- Travellers planning trips from Bangladesh and the Gulf, looking at the place you filmed at the moment they are deciding to go there.
We do not pay for clips at the moment, and we would rather say so here than in a message after you have sent one.
Taking a clip back
Email us or message us and it comes off the site the same day. The file is deleted within seven days. You do not have to explain, and it does not affect any other clip of yours.
Questions people ask
Do I have to connect my Instagram account?
No. You can send the original files from your phone or laptop. Connecting Instagram is a shortcut for picking reels you have already posted; it is not the only way in, and it is not open yet.
Can I send a clip somebody else filmed?
No. It has to be yours — you filmed it, or you hold the rights to it. A clip you reposted is not yours to license, however well it did on your account.
What happens to the music?
Clips play muted unless you tell us the sound is your own. Music from Instagram’s library is licensed for Instagram, not for a website, so a clip using it plays silently with no sound button at all.
Will it go up straight away?
No. Somebody here watches every clip before it goes anywhere. That usually takes a couple of working days.
What about people in the clip?
Anyone recognisable has to have agreed to be in it. We also do not take clips where a child is the focus, and clips from Makkah or Madinah have to be calm and respectful.
Apply
Tell us where you film and leave a link or two. A person reads every one of these — there is no automatic reply, and we will not message you on Instagram out of the blue.
